Platforms For Success Issue # 11

 Everyday there is always something new to learn....  This morning in my devotional reading I discovered something perhaps you already knew, but I did not.

Rainbows are actually not an  arch's  but a circle.  

The Devotional Writer has this very unique experience , he said " while I was flying in the air over Niagara Falls there was quite a commotion on the flight and people were straining to get a glimpse. It was then that I looked out my window and saw a most amazing sight. From the Horseshoe Falls on the Canadian side to the falls on the American side was this amazing and rare sight, a full rainbow in a total 360 degree circle. "

He further said that it got him thinking about the circles.   Would  it be not surprising  that an Eternal God with no beginning or no end would have a symbol which also had no beginning or end ?   

I would like to further your faith and knowledge with an important paradigm of thought in line with this....  Immutable Covenant. 

This word means " unchangeable over time " .  God's Covenant over you is like that rainbow, it is eternal and unchangeable.  His love is everlasting, not like human love. It cannot be earned, broken, lost. Remember these words "  He died for us while we were yet sinners. It is His love which brings us to repentance."

This is the gospel. Eternal. Unbreakable . 

Often, we think somehow we need to perform to please Him.  Untrue.  In Hebrews we read " Those who come to God, must believe that he exists and that He  is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him "   Diligently Seek.... This is our responsibility. " 

My further contention is this..... If God has given every person  "the measure of faith " is it even our faith that pleases Him or is it the recognition of  the the faith He gave us and asking Him how to incorporate it  daily into our lives. Perhaps, it is in the asking that we please him. 

We call Him Abba.

I have a friend...  I know this may be shocking to some of you that I actually have a friend... but I do. I may have actually mentioned him before.  Perhaps you are curious about this friend and you should be... here's why.  This friend is a highly educated professor....who has taught many of the local leaders who stand before you each and every week. Of the many specialties which he possesses are two that I know of , he is a Hebrew Scholar and also a Scholar on  Ancient Cultures.   Pretty heady stuff.... Platforms For Success Issue 4

 Today I would like to talk about this idea of VALUE. I have been thinking about this for quite some time and wanted to bring it up for discussion because it is important. Let's look at some ideas concerning value. The value of time.  Here's an old saying " Believe little of what one says, but you can always believe what one does "  Actions, as we all know, are more important that words. So we can see, that we all spend our time according to what we value. Where do you spend your time ?  It will tell you much about yourself.  Maybe we need to re-evaluate and reallocate where we spend our time ?  Just a thought..... As a business guy, I tend to spend quite a bit of time doing what I do best. I am sure you do also.  Perhaps the key here is finding balance.
