Platforms For Success Issue #12

I have a friend...  I know this may be shocking to some of you that I actually have a friend... but I do. I may have actually mentioned him before. 

Perhaps you are curious about this friend and you should be... here's why.  This friend is a highly educated professor....who has taught many of the local leaders who stand before you each and every week. Of the many specialties which he possesses are two that I know of , he is a Hebrew Scholar and also a Scholar on  Ancient Cultures.  

Pretty heady stuff....

As I am sure you can imagine, we have had some very interesting dinner conversations . 

Anyway, he contends that he can find out where you stand on all important topical life issues depending on  how you answer just three important questions ....

I believe he is totally correct.

I want you to think about this and if you memorize these three questions...  it will give you guidance and direction and also help you guide others too.

Question # 1.    Where do we come from ?

Question # 2    What's wrong with the World ?

Question # 3     How do we fix it ?

Pretty straight vanilla and simple from a person with multiple PHD's .   The Apostle Paul said " we would no longer view men from a worldly standpoint "  Phil 3:15-16 

It is not shocking that in the End Times that " knowledge ( information ) will be multiplied." How do we silence the bombardment of voices assaulting you and I every day ? 

SIMPLIFY ........  

Where do we  enter the Rest promised us in the book of Hebrews ?

Do the words" Be Still "  mean something to you  today ?  Where are the Still Waters ?

Platforms For Success Issue 4

 Today I would like to talk about this idea of VALUE. I have been thinking about this for quite some time and wanted to bring it up for discussion because it is important. Let's look at some ideas concerning value. The value of time.  Here's an old saying " Believe little of what one says, but you can always believe what one does "  Actions, as we all know, are more important that words. So we can see, that we all spend our time according to what we value. Where do you spend your time ?  It will tell you much about yourself.  Maybe we need to re-evaluate and reallocate where we spend our time ?  Just a thought.....
