 Happy 2025 to you !   Wishing this is your best year yet !!


ZIG ZIGLAR  -    If this is a person you have not heard about, I'd like to introduce you to him.  Author, businessman, motivational speaker..... Once called " the salesman's Salesman " if I remember correctly.  Google Him.  Perhaps pickup a book. You will not be disappointed.


At the beginning of this new year, perhaps a few ( I'll call them Ziglar's )  thoughts to help you kick start perhaps something new for you that would be SIMPLE to implement and help you immediately TODAY.


So here is a Ziglar  "  If you think it, it is JUST an IDEA, if you write it down, its a PLAN "


Let get REAL here.... I'm not one of these guys who have a plan for a week, a month, a year, five years.....  Perhaps you are ??   God Bless you.

BUT there are some things I do write down just to keep my head on straight AND also so Laurie ( my lovely wife ) and I can plan to achieve over a specific period of time.


Here are some of the things I have written down..... And let me say that almost all successful people will tell you they DO write things down on paper . I use an IPAD mostly for my lists. I like that I can update and modify as needed. You can use your phone.


OK , here are some of the things I write down.

1. Monthly Budget -  Dave Ramsey says ( not sure if this is exact, but get the point ! )   if you don't tell your money where to go, it goes everywhere . 

2. House projects 

3.  Of course things like Will's .

4. How about a list for your spouse  should something happen to you.  This has been called A Love             Letter .  Think your spouse would find great comfort  to know who to speak to should it be             necessary.

This is just a BASIC guideline.. customize it for your situation.


Just another thought......   In the OLD days , the people in the world  we used to have Bob Hope, Johnny Cash, and Steve Jobs.   Today, they  have no JOBS, no CASH, and no HOPE !!   Just kidding.

How about memorizing some Scripture ?   Write down one of your FAVS and stick it in your pocket and pull it out  during the day.   It is one true guarantee NOT to return VOID. It will change your life.

Platforms For Success Issue #12

I have a friend...  I know this may be shocking to some of you that I actually have a friend... but I do. I may have actually mentioned him before.  Perhaps you are curious about this friend and you should be... here's why.  This friend is a highly educated professor....who has taught many of the local leaders who stand before you each and every week. Of the many specialties which he possesses are two that I know of , he is a Hebrew Scholar and also a Scholar on  Ancient Cultures.   Pretty heady stuff.... Platforms For Success Issue 4

 Today I would like to talk about this idea of VALUE. I have been thinking about this for quite some time and wanted to bring it up for discussion because it is important. Let's look at some ideas concerning value. The value of time.  Here's an old saying " Believe little of what one says, but you can always believe what one does "  Actions, as we all know, are more important that words. So we can see, that we all spend our time according to what we value. Where do you spend your time ?  It will tell you much about yourself.  Maybe we need to re-evaluate and reallocate where we spend our time ?  Just a thought..... As a business guy, I tend to spend quite a bit of time doing what I do best. I am sure you do also.  Perhaps the key here is finding balance.
