 MISTER  KIND OF OBVIOUS HERE. I read a story a while back where this fairly well known musician returned for some volunteer service overseas in a challenging country . I believe he was working for a group similar to Habitat For Humanity and was helping to build homes for those who cannot afford them.  So he said " when I returned home I realized I had about fifteen place in my home where fresh water came in and at first it made me think, and then I began to weep. I had just come from a place where people did not have running water "  And it was at that point , I started to take gratitude seriously.  Fresh clean water, a place to sleep out of the cold and the rain, food in abundance, a job ( that you get to go to ! ) " the list could go on.....and on.  I have a list I read and meditate on every morning.... A. Abba, Abundance B. Breath, Bothers, C. Communion, commitment D.  You get the idea... A to Z F. Friendships, Family  M. Marriage Z. Zeal...

 Today I would like to talk about this idea of VALUE. I have been thinking about this for quite some time and wanted to bring it up for discussion because it is important. Let's look at some ideas concerning value. The value of time.  Here's an old saying " Believe little of what one says, but you can always believe what one does "  Actions, as we all know, are more important that words. So we can see, that we all spend our time according to what we value. Where do you spend your time ?  It will tell you much about yourself.  Maybe we need to re-evaluate and reallocate where we spend our time ?  Just a thought..... As a business guy, I tend to spend quite a bit of time doing what I do best. I am sure you do also.  Perhaps the key here is finding balance.  Good Day. How do you define success ?  That's a loaded question .    Something we are all consciously or sub-consciously thinking about every day. Instead of thinking like there is ONE ANSWER, as we know there is not.., let's consider some factors that give us some clarity on the topic. I am going discuss some factors going forward.  Welcome to the Post Election Day. I know there are a some happy campers and some not-so happy campers out there. .  Let's try to maintain some perspective.....  A very wise man gave me some very wonderful advice on a decision I had to make many years ago.... He told me " Peter, the pendulum always swings to the extreme .  The key is to find a good decision in the middle "   This was excellent advice on my decision about finding a person to fulfill a very important  and powerful position I needed to fill which would have a profound affect on many lives in an organization over a long time and is still continuing today. So there are some lessons I think can be learned on this day. 1.
